Jung Sangsoo releases single ‘비트 위를 걷네’ (Walking on the Beat)

Jung Sangsoo from Show Me The Money seasons 3 and 4 has released a new single titled ‘비트 위를 걷네’ [Walking on the Beat].

He has previously released the EP ‘Color Glasses‘, the album ‘부산을 대표해‘ [Represent Busan] as well as the collaboration ‘New Day‘ with singer Estell.

This single was composed by newcoming beatmaker Park Heewoo (a.k.a Founder) and features scratching by DJ YHABOO who has worked with musicians like Gummy before. It is a nineties style beat on which Jung Sangsoo raps about the feelings created by hiphop music.

Jung Sangsoo plans to continue creating his very own world of hiphop with more music to come.

Hwaji - ZISSOU (cover)

Hwaji reveals tracklist and cover of upcoming full-length album ‘ZISSOU’

 

After recently pre-releasing the track ‘상아탑 (Ivory Towers)‘ off his upcoming 2nd full-length album ‘ZISSOU’, Hwaji has now revealed the album’s cover artwork and tracklist with featurings by AOMG’s Ugly Duck, VMC’s Deepflow, Inplanet’s R&B artist The Suite, and Hi-Lite’s Paloalto.

The album will be made up of 13 tracks which have all been produced by Young Soul who already worked with Hwaji on most of the tracks off his first full-length album ‘EAT’.

Pre-sales for a package including Hwaji’s first and second full-length album start on January 22nd on Hiphopplaya. This is a very rare chance, since Hwaji’s first full-length album ‘EAT’ can currently not be bought anywhere and will not be officially sold either.

All artworks for the album and the pre-released tracks ‘안 급해’, ‘히피카예’, and ‘상아탑 (Ivory Towers)’ were created by BAZBON who amongst others also made the artwork for Ugly Duck’s ‘Whatever’ and Babylon’s ‘Tight’.

‘ZISSOU’ is set for release in mid-February.

SHYONE comes down from stage and invites Doosik and Sung-gi to dinner. On the way out, Doosik bumps into Chulmin who surprisingly is very nice to him. He tells Doosik that he enjoyed his mixtape and that they should meet again. When Jasung asks Chulmin why he is being so nice, the latter replies: “From now on, you will clearly see what happens when someone messes with me.”
Meanwhile, Sung-gi warns Doosik of Chulmin, saying that he’s pretentious and sneaky, but Doosik doesn’t want to believe it.
Sung-gi’s girlfriend Nara joins the guys at the restaurant and as Doosik talks with her, he finds out that Jiyun doesn’t have a boyfriend after all.
Next, Doosik addresses Shiwon about his blue eyes and Shiwon explains that his father is white.

At the same time, behind the concert venue: apparently, Chulmin bribed one of the organizers into hindering 2SIK from performing. The guy is only helping for money and because Chulmin promises him to put in a good word for him with his uncle. Inside, he curses Chulmin: “If it wasn’t for his uncle, I’d seriously …”

Doosik texts Jiyun and they decide to go out for dinner the next day. A while later, Sung-gi explains to Doosik that Shiwon doesn’t like talking about his parents and that Doosik shouldn’t talk about them in front of Shiwon.

At the end of the episode, we see Shiwon remembering his childhood …

  • When Nara turns up at the restaurant, Doosik hopes that Jiyun has come too.
  • Chulmin speaks informally with the older guy with the hat, which shows his rude personality and obviously angers the guy.
