Way Ched - Share Feelings (album cover)

Producer Way Ched releases debut album ‘Share Feelings’

Independent producer Way Ched has released his first mini album today. ‘Share Feelings‘ features Sik-K, Coogie, YunB, punchnello, and blah.

Using the moniker “8,” Way Ched produced Kang Seung-yoon’s ‘You’ (2016). At the time, he was with HIGHGRND and described as a “mysterious 19-year-old genius producer.”

Today, Way Ched has released his debut album as an independent artist. His goal was to create music that would convey his moods and thoughts to the listeners. The sounds are Ched’s own interpretation of black music, which is both trendy and extravagant. You can get a taste of it in the teaser video below.

The album is available on iTunes/Apple Music; the time of release may differ depending on country.

YunB - S.O.S. (album cover)

YunB drops first full-length album ‘S.O.S.’ and ‘Memphis/Al Capone’ MV

Hi-Lite Records’ talented artist YunB has released his first full-length album today. ‘S.O.S.‘ stands for ‘The Society of the Spectacle‘ and features B-Free, Jeremy Que$t, Ami, EK, Khundi Panda, JUSTHIS, Okasian, Paloalto, SUMIN, LAKO, and Reddy.

New York-born artist YunB joined Hi-Lite Records in 2016. His debut album ‘YunB‘ came out last year in June. Recently, he has pre-released the music video for ‘Clockwork‘ and the single and music video ‘Yellow Cab‘ off this LP.

The album title was inspired by philosopher Guy Debord‘s book of the same name (original French title: La Société du Spectacle) which left a deep impression on YunB when he read it in university.

“We are always deceived by something and want to be addicted to something. This album is the spectacle I’m presenting you with.” -YunB

While he produced all but one track himself, YunB got himself sturdy support, first and foremost from his label mates Paloalto and Reddy, but also from ex-Hi-Lite members B-Free and Okasian. Several of the tracks feature EK of Most Badass Asian, who has constantly been rapping alongside YunB. Singer SUMIN, who already featured on YunB’s debut EP, lend him her voice again. Two songs feature American vocalist, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and music producer Ami Kim.
