Producer Spray debuts with full-length album ‘mindspray’
“All-weather” producer Spray has released his debut LP, ‘mindspray‘, under STONESHIP today. He got support from Giriboy, Ugly Duck, SUMIN, SOMA, DJ Wegun, and more.
Spray aims to create original music based on turntablism. As a member of BACKnFORTH, he has been throwing hip-hop parties around Hongdae and Itaewon for over seven years. Furthermore, Spray participated in SBS’ DJ show ‘Triangle’.
Today, the artist has released his first album that portrays his own style of music.
From the coolness of turntablism in ‘BACKnFORTH’ to the grandeur of ‘Mind Blowin’, Spray shows great teamwork with all featured artists. And not only the music, the cover art and other elements of the album are a trendy effort to represent hip-hop. Spray did his best to show that while following the trend one can still stay true to the basics, making great hip-hop music.

WEKEYZ release second single ‘Sugar (Feat. Chloe DeVita & Ugly Duck)’
8BallTown’s producer duo WEKEYZ has released their second single yesterday. ‘Sugar’ features Chloe DeVita and Ugly Duck.
“Sweetness and bitterness, those two always coexist … In the end, the story of feelings repeats itself again, Sugar.”
Producer/DJ Yunu and producer/saxophonist Jason Lee are producer team WEKEYZ of label 8BallTown. They dropped their first single ‘Want Me Girl (Feat. KIRIN & Hoody)‘ in 2015.
In their new song, WEKEYZ express their thoughts on sweet and bitter love. While ‘Want Me Girl’ had a ’90s vibe, this track boosts trendy electronic-flavored R&B sounds. The featured artists are Chicago-based singer-songwriter Chloe DeVita of 8BallTown and AOMG‘s rapper Ugly Duck.
