Artist ‘Goyo’ (고요) has released his debut single ‘401호 (No. 401)’ today which contains two songs off his mixtape ‘Paper Plane’. The title track features indie singer D2ear.
There are various ways to convey messages with music. Some artists do so through their lyrics, others do so using instrumental sounds. Done well, either will result in an effective means of telling a story. However, sometimes there are songs that combine those two means; like Goyo‘s songs. Whether you’re listening to them while walking through crowded streets where you cannot hear the lyrics properly, or you’re in a quiet room and want to concentrate on the lyrics, the songs will whisper little stories into your ears.
The more you listen to Goyo’s double single, the more of his music you will want to hear.
The artist comments: “I wanted the songs to represent the time I was the purest, and the feelings I had at that time. I hope that someone can relate to my stories and that they will become a tiny joy in that person’s daily life.”
Last year in June, Goyo released his mixtape ‘Paper Plane’ which included both songs off this double single. You can still listen to and download the mixtape.
