Naver On Stage 382: Hippy was Gipsy with Kim Oki and jeebanoff

Alternative R&B duo Hippy was Gipsy performed three of their songs live for Naver On Stage 382 along with Kim Oki and jeebanoff.

Hippy was Gipsy (히피는 집시였다) are producer Jflow of WAVISABIROOM and singer Sep. The two released their debut album ‘Island‘ in February 2017 and their first full-length album ‘Tree‘ in June. The LP won the award for The Best R&B/Soul Album at the Korean Music Awards this year as well as the award for The Best R&B Album at the 2nd Korean Hiphop Awards.
At the end of last month, Hippy was Gipsy released their second full-length album ‘Language‘.

For Naver On Stage’s 382nd episode, the duo re-arranged three of their tracks: ‘Korea Flower’ off their first LP, ‘Tree‘, as well as ‘We (With Kim Oki)‘ and ‘Bed (With jeebanoff)‘ off their second LP, ‘Language’. While the videos came out before, the single has come out today.

R&B/Soul musician Horim releases ‘TEMP-TON’ single

Horim has released his third single ‘TEMP-TON‘ together with neo soul musician ROSE.

Horim first released a solo album in 2015, followed by another single and one EP in 2016.

TEMP-TON‘ is about a man and a woman who should not cross the line but the air between them is soaking with excitement and their want for each other. The song’s dreamy atmosphere with its trumpet and saxophone sounds will have you imagine the situation in no time.

Horim created this single together with neo soul musician ROSE and it also features saxophonist Kim Oki, who is making not only jazz but a variety of music, as well as jazz trumpeter Brian Shin.
