Enjoy more KozyPop with ‘Seoul Vibes Pt. 3‘! The compilation album features oceanfromtheblue, elijah who, RIPLEY, Zesty, knottihomie, and more.

‘KozyPop‘ is a portmanteau of ‘cozy’ and ‘K-pop’ and refers to those artists who enjoy music that has a certain mellow atmosphere, rather than music of a specific genre.

Behind this album series, with the aim to introduce major indie artists to a wider audience, is producer A June of global music group Link6. ‘Seoul Vibes Pt. 1‘ and ‘Seoul Vibes Pt. 2‘, which came out in the previous two months, received a lot of love from listeners not only in Korea but also globally when tracks off the albums were added to Spotify’s official ‘Sexiest K-Grooves’ playlist.

The third part of the series includes tracks by international producers. There is for example elijah who, popular in the lo-fi scene. And especially for this release, GR8VATTIC‘s Zesty raps on producer deeepsol‘s beat with Joseph Jacobs‘ piano sample (Link6 Inc. Publishing got it cleared for this release).

Scid releases digital single ‘외국인’ (Foreigner)

Rapper Scid (read: acid) has pre-released a single off his upcoming mini album.

He debuted last year with the single ‘공전하네 (Feat. YUMDDA, Loky Beatz)‘.

‘외국인 (外國人)‘ (lit.: foreigner) is a diary-like track in which Scid describes how he’s been living like a foreigner, just floating around and not feeling like he belongs. The track with its exotic beat was produced by Deeepsol who has previously worked with musicians like Vixx, SLEEQ, or LT. It was mixed and mastered by Theoria who did the same for Scid’s debut single ‘공전하네’.

Scid’s first EP will be released some time in spring. Meanwhile, you can check out his first mixtape that is available on SoundCloud, YouTube and for free download.

Rapper D.Feeling has released the single ‘Inside Out‘ today which was produced by Deeepsol.

The song is based on the thought that ‘living means to constantly hurt someone as well as me getting constantly hurt by someone’. In the lyrics, D.Feeling expresses his doubts about interhuman relationships, which can be rather hard to swallow. To ease this difficulty, there is producer Deeepsol‘s bright melody and the roaring voice of Yoosori.
This song is dedicated to everyone who wants to take a break and do absolutely nothing.
