Kanto has released the single ‘요즈음 (YOSM)‘ [These Days] today, which delivers a positive message for the youth.
Kanto is known for being part of the group Troy and for several featurings for artists like Seo Inyoung, 15&, Raina, or Rumble Fish. This new single is a pre-release off his first EP ‘14216’. Its message is that if you live with a dream, you will be able to smile one day despite the tiring, repetitive every-day life. The beat was made by ‘동네형’ (Neighborhood-hyung) and Won Youngheon who produced hits like San E’s ‘Story of Someone I Know’ and Davichi’s ‘Two Lovers’. The melody line was made by producer Xepy. The track also features WOOZI of Seventeen, this being his first time featuring on anyone’s song ever.
The single also contains the track ‘카엔티오 (SayMaName)’ that is about doing your own thing without minding others.

Hanhae releases single and MV ‘Eyescream (Feat. Jung Eun-ji)’
Hanhae has released the summer single and music video ‘Eyescream (여름, 아이스크림)’ today which feature Apink’s Jung Eun-ji.
This is Hanahe’s latest single since ‘내가 이래 (I Used To)‘ in March. He produced ‘Eyescream’ together with his talented labelmate CHAMPAGNE, creating a dreamy and sticky R&B hiphop track. The sweet hook that is like a conversation between Hanhae and Jung Eun-ji is especially impressive.
The music video that features Russian model Angelina Danilova was directed by DIGIPEDI and perfectly recreates the song’s dreamy-sticky atmosphere.

Verbal Jint releases digital single ‘The Chase / True or False’
Five weeks after admitting to drunk driving, Verbal Jint has released the single ‘추적 (The Chase) / 진실게임 (True or False)’.
Before the single was released, he posted on Instagram: Two tracks [are going to be released] tonight, they contain my remorse and resolutions, things I have to make clear.
Five weeks ago, he had posted the following message to which fans reacted supportingly:
Hello. I am sorry to be bringing you bad news. I confess to drunk driving four days ago near my home with a BAC of 0.067 %. It looks like I will get a license suspension for 100 days. It is clearly my fault and I am deeply reflecting on my irresponsible action of forgetting that drunk drivers are a potential threat. I cannot hide this fact and I do not think it should be kept hidden, so I am writing this, embarrassed. Once again, I am sorry for disappointing you.
Now, in the track ‘The Chase’, he directly addresses the incident:
The incident at that night in June near Sinseok Elementary School,
I am reflecting on it so don’t worry, it won’t happen again
Every night I think about the people that I could have killed
And in ‘True or False’ he further elaborates on his drinking problem:
I remember the text message my mother had sent me only a few days earlier,
telling me to be careful of what I do when I’m drunk.
“I only had three cans, I’m not drunk yet”
