DOSHi - OFF (cover art)

DOSHi releases third single, ‘OFF (Prod. by ₩onit)’

GR8VATTIC’s DOSHi has released his third single today. ‘OFF‘ was produced by ₩onit.

DOSHi has been uploading his music to SoundCloud under the name ‘Hyuttack‘. After winning the third season of “real Hiphop/R&B survival” show CHECKMATE, he changed his artist name and released his debut single ‘Divin‘ about a month ago. The artist’s second official single, ‘Mandarin Juice‘, came out at the beginning of this month.

DOSHi’s third single is about finding some free time in one’s busy life. How about you stop what you’re doing and take a break together with DOSHi? Producer ₩onit created the sounds–he also produced R&B singer Saula‘s debut single.
The production of this single and its music video was supported by the CHECKMATE team: producer bcalm and 17oz, a team of visual directors. The music video they made will come out together with DOSHi’s first mini album, ‘ELEVATOR’.

CedarWOOD - See The WOOD Vol. 1 (cover art)

CedarWOOD releases first single ‘See The WOOD Vol. 1’

Beatmaker CedarWOOD of Gravity Music has debuted with the single ‘See the WOOD Vol. 1’ today which features veteran rapper Jerry.k of daze alive.

The name CedarWOOD is taken from the cedar tree whose scent is used for relaxation or meditation. The artist found his music to be similar to that tree. Rough parts of samples and primitive melodies are woven into a beat, wandering back and forth between vintage boom bap and trap sounds.

The title being a word play on the beatmaker’s name, ‘See the WOOD‘ is a series of collaborations between CedarWOOD and a rapper.

Track List, Descriptions & Credits:
  1. Burbon
    Produced by CedarWOOD
    Mixed by bcalm, CedarWOOD
    Mastered by bcalm
A beat that pictures a glass of Bourbon at a shabby bar with a Proust-like imagination
  2. 더 말해 뭐해 (Feat. Jerry.k) TITLE
    Produced by CedarWOOD
    Rap & lyrics by Jerry.k
Mixed and mastered by Nahzam Sue
While watching the performance of a stand-up comedian he likes, CedarWOOD heard the audience’s outstanding cheers and used them for a beat right away. Just like comedians, rappers stand in front of an audience, advocating what they believe in. On this track, Jerry.k argues and tries to persuade in his own way.
