Duo Monkey Bars release new single ‘공기마저 뜨거워져’

Monkey Bars are singer-songwriter James Keys and rapper Skinny Chase. The title of their new single, ‘공기마저 뜨거워져‘, translates to: “even the air gets hot.” The song is dedicated to all femmes fatales.

Monkey Bars released their debut album ‘As You Can See‘ in 2015 together with the title track’s music video, ‘It’s You/Confessions‘.

James Keys recently produced the track ‘EVERYTHING’ off Ash-B‘s album of the same name, and Slick O’domar‘s ‘PRESEASON‘ mixtape. Skinny Chase has meanwhile been active as part of the duo Colslaugh alongside Mark Antoniio.

Three years after their first album, James Keys and Skinny Chase return with a sexy new song that is a forerunner of their next album. The single is available on iTunes/Apple Music.

ARTISEAN releases debut album ‘DEEPERSELF’

Indie singer and rapper ARTISEAN made his debut with the mini album ‘DEEPERSELF’ on December 19. It is a glimpse into his profound thoughts and deeper self as he struggled to make a better album.

In his first album, ARTISEAN tells of is view on and feelings about the world.
The album begins with the intro ‘ARTISEAN’ which is about his aspirations and determinations as an artist. He realizes that everyone feels like they are living life with three kinds of dilemmas: work, love, and relationships.
‘힘못들어 (No More)’ is about not wanting any more troubles at work and hardships in life.
‘쉽게 사랑에 빠지잖아 (You’re in love easily)’ represents heartbreak from love.
‘고슴도치 (Hedgehog)’ is a track that expresses being tired of interpersonal relationships.
In ‘Good Dawn’, ARTISEAN sings about the struggle to endure all those wounds and to be a good person.
However, the last track ‘Drink Me’ talks about the ugly reality where one never can be a good person toward everyone.

All of the six tracks are about ARTISEAN’s universe, combined under the name of ‘DEEPERSELF‘.

The artist had a considerable time to get to know himself deeply in the process of working on the album. He keeps listening to himself to improve his stories, and he hopes that many people who are experiencing difficult times in life are comforted by this album.

Jindotgae and WILLYEOM release digital single ‘YAY’

Independent rapper Jindotgae and recently debuted newcomer WILLYEOM have pre-released ‘YAY’ off their upcoming project album.

For the last two years, Jindotgae has been working hard as an independent artist, releasing his underrated ‘Rabies’ series. He now joined hands with WILLYEOM who made his debut just last month with the single ‘뉴욕행 (N.Y.C.)‘ which was produced by Dakshood of Krosshartz.
Jindotgae and WILLYEOM have been working on the project EP ‘GOOD IS BAD’ together. ‘YAY‘ is the first pre-release off the album.

In this track, the two say that they are not going to let down the fans who have been supporting and waiting for them. So look forward to these two artists’ activities this year!
