R&B singer-songwriter and performer SAAY has pre-released the track and music video ‘ENCORE‘ off her upcoming first full-length album. The song was produced by DEEZ and Daniel Obi Klein.
SAAY received attention for working with Crush and Tish Hyman right from her debut. Her fourth single is another pre-release off her first full-length album ‘CLAASSIC‘ that will come out in mid-May. It will contain 18 tracks and besides Crush and Tish Hyman the LP will feature Punchnello.
This time, SAAY not only participated in the production of the music but also in the accompanying performance for which she collaborated with dancer Mykell Wilson, who has worked with the likes of Pharrell Williams, Kendrick Lamar, and Justin Bieber.
When you have some time left, the word “encore” comes to mind. The cover art shows one body with two heads; similarly, SAAY sings about two types of encores in this song: the one in her personal life and the one on stage.
SAAY composed the song alongside DEEZ of SOULTRiii, Daniel Obi Klein (who produced E SENS‘ classic ‘The Anecdote‘), and Norwegian singer-songwriter Ylva Olaisen.
