OLNL, Hippy was Gipsy - Summer Rain (cover art)

OLNL and Hippy was Gipsy release single and MV ‘Summer Rain’

Today. OLNL and Hippy was Gipsy have released the single and music video ‘Summer Rain (여름비)‘ as part of the OST of an art exhibition.

“Weather, 오늘 당신의 날씨는 어떤가요?” (Weather, how is your weather today?) is an exhibition by D Museum and space oddity. Its original soundtrack is specifically for millennials.
The participating artists are indie group Say Sue Me, singers O3ohn and Lee JinA, as well as rapper OLNL and alternative R&B duo Hippy was Gipsy of STONESHIP. Their music will not only be played at the exhibition, but there will be a live performance as well as a colored vinyl with all songs.

Rapper and producer Jflow of Hippy was Gipsy was inspired by photographer Alex Webb’s rain photo taken in Erie, Pennsylvania. The innocent joy of the children playing in the rain can be heard in Jflow’s music, as well as in Sep and OLNL’s lyrics and singing.

Film studio gabworks, who is exhibiting its work at D Museum, created a short film to accompany the music. Watch it below!

Producer 404 NotFoundead releases debut single ‘Room (with daifa)’

Rookie producer 404 NotFoundead has released his debut single ‘Room (방) (with daifa)‘ today with support from Jflow and eehosoo.

404 NotFoundead is only 18 years young (Korean age), yet has a very distinctive music style. He has been uploading his music to SoundCloud, working with Futuristic Swaver and 한국사람 (Korean person).

The producer’s debut single is different from the sounds you can hear on his SoundCloud channel. It features singer daifa on the vocals and the guitar–he opened for American singer-songwriter JMSN in Seoul. 404 NotFoundead received further support from his mentor Jflow who helped arrange the song and mixed and mastered it. Check out the teaser below!

“I think you would have loved me
Even if they are hurt
they love each other”

The lyrics are about the two-sidedness of a relationship; the love when two people are the closest and the pain when they break up.

The artwork was greated by eehosoo, who has worked with artists like Giriboy, Osshum Gum, and DEAN.
