DooYoung releases new digital single, ‘Wake Me Up!’

Ghood Life Crew’s DooYoung has released a new digital single today, titled ‘Wake Me Up!‘.

DooYoung debuted in September 2017 with the mini album ‘GHOOD LIFE‘, then released the single ‘NOTICE ME‘ in November. This year in February he dropped the maxi single ‘4 DA MONEY IM A SAVAGE‘.

The rapper’s new track is about everything that “wakes him up.” Yoon, who previously produced Kidk Kidk‘s debut single, ‘Zoom‘, made the beat.

SUPERBEE & twlv release joint mini album ‘벼락부자애들’

Moolood Gang’s SUPERBEE and twlv have released the mini album ‘벼락부자애들‘ together. Producers The Need and Make4Play, as well as rapper Jvcki Wai contributed to the EP.

Well-known in the indie scene, twlv released his unofficial mini album ‘Nobody‘ in March. He also featured on official singles by Royce and Anonymous Artists.

Two weeks ago, twlv released the single ‘Ladies Love Dogs (Feat. Jindotgae)‘ together with SUPERBEE. The two artists revealed that they had been working together for a while, having already made over 50 songs. The self-proclaimed trap geniuses swore to become “the trap version of Garion.”

Their first album together, its title literally meaning “new-rich kids,” contains six tracks that the two produced with The Need and Make4Play. The Need has been working with twlv and R&B singer Alisha, while Make4Play has worked with SUPERBEE’s label mate myunDo several times. The EP’s only featured artist is Indigo Music‘s female artist, Jvcki Wai.

SUPERBEE and twlv already have their next album ready. ‘벼락부자애들 2‘ is set for release in two weeks, on June 29 at 6PM KST.

Los drops new single ‘HOT BOY$ (Feat. Woodie Gochild, CHANGMO)’

Los collaborated with H1GHR MUSIC’s Woodie Gochild and Ambition Musik’s CHANGMO on his new single ‘HOT BOY$‘.

Inspired by Cash Money Records’ group Hot Boys, Los decided to make this song. Hot Boys tried themselves at a style that was entirely new at the time.

In order to demonstrate “real” hiphop in Korea, Los got help from two rappers he respects: CHANGMO and Woodie Gochild. In charge of the production was DOOMSDAY, who worked with Los on the latter’s two previous releases, the single ‘Trap‘ and the mini album ‘Flame Boy‘.
The result of these four artists’ collaboration is a sound you cannot hear in Korea these days.
