Singer George features on producer L-like’s single ‘Awkward’
R&B singer-songwriter George has featured on producer L-like’s new single ‘Awkward (어색해)‘, which came out today together with a music video.
George debuted in early 2016 and released his successful single ‘Boat‘ last year in November. In the music video, the singer showed off not only his talent but also his humor, amusing many fans. However, just like he has shown in his debut single and featurings for Primary, Giriboy, Samuel Seo, and Jinbo, George has a wide spectrum as a singer. He proved this once again with the single and music video ‘Swimming Pool‘ last month.
This new song was produced by L-like, who debuted in 2015. She used to remix pop music, giving the songs a funky, disco, or house flavor. She has already worked with George for both her debut single and album (2016).
This single is the first she is releasing under Irrelevant Music, the label Deepshower is signed to and the label under which Topp Dogg’s Kinda released his ‘Anointed’ LP.
The lyrics written by George are about two people who just met and still feel awkward around each other, but before long they’re enjoying their time together. The digital single is available on iTunes/Apple Music. Watch the music video below!

His new song is melancholic but beautiful, and George made it entirely by himself. He sings about the pressure and worries he feels regarding his future, and how they make him want to seek refuge in a pool. Told in George’s familiar and lonesome voice, the story becomes each listener’s own.

Giriboy releases fourth full-length album ‘Graduation’ and ‘Whyyoumad’ MV
Giriboy of Just Music has released his fourth LP ‘Graduation (졸업식)‘ with support from GroovyRoom, OLNL, Sik-K, Mad Clown, Han Yohan, and more.
‘Graduation’ is the second part in Giriboy‘s ‘식’ series, after ‘성인식 (Sexual Perceptions)’, and this album is again not self-produced. Instead, Giriboy got a track from producer Louie Lastic who produced Maroon 5’s ‘Don’t Wanna Know (Feat. Kendrick Lamar)’, as well as tracks from GroovyRoom, Big Pie, WYBH’s Fisherman, Cosmicboy, dnss, Lemac, Minit, and Coa White.
The featured artists are equally flashy, from established artists Sik-K, Mad Clown, and Han Yohan, to hot newcomers OLNL, Young B, Kid Milli, Seungmin Kim, Lazy Bones aka CHOILB, and R&B singer George.
