Korean-born and New-Jersey-bred, KATIE was first exposed to music through school choirs and Top 40 radio. Feeling most at home creating and performing music, KATIE went on to attend Berklee College of Music, where she found her true love, R&B — falling for Lalah Hathaway, Aaliyah, Lauryn Hill, and Frank Ocean.
KATIE is finally ready to share her music sans labels or borders.
As a re-introduction to the world, KATIE returns with a co-sign from Ty Dolla $ign, with “Remember.”
