Hip-hop crew Balming Tiger, the pioneers of globalizing Korean hip-hop who would have a 99% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes were they a movie, released their first official single and music video today. ‘I’m Sick‘ is a collaboration with Dingo Music.
Balming Tiger is a group of artists based in Seoul. Its members are Sanyawn, No Identity, abyss, Byung Un, jan’qui, sogumm and Unsinkable. On January 24, the collective dropped their first full-length mixtape ‘Balming Tiger Vol. 1: 虎媄304‘ with two featurings by Kim Ximya of XXX. In February, they then revealed the first music video off the mixtape, ‘CHEF LEE‘, and the second music video, ‘못 UNDERSTAND‘, in May.
The rap of YouTuber and nerd rapper Byung Un (aka Yoo Byung Un) together with the irreplaceable high-quality sound of No Identity stands out in this uptempo track, an anthem for all the social media addicts of this generation.
Balming Tiger’s new single has the power of one million attention whores: You might have not listened to this track before, but you’re not going to listen to it just once!
