Hanscur releases first mini album, ‘BLOW YOUTH’, and ‘REST’ MV

Rapper Hanscur has released his first album, ‘BLOW YOUTH‘, today. He received support from jayvito, IOAH, Charles Shin, Charming Lips, Hippy was Gipsy, Summer Soul, and more.

About two years ago, Hanscur started to make a name for himself via SoundCloud. Last year, he featured on SOMA‘s debut album, ‘Somablu‘ and released his debut single, ‘keepon‘.

I hope it will be relatable and of comfort and encouragement to my friends.

jayvito, who has been producing more experimental music these days, created two of the beats. Indie producers IOAH and Charming Lips contributed two tracks too, as well as Hanscur’s label mates Hippy was Gipsy. As a result, the album is dominated by dreamy sounds that remind more of indie music than hip-hop. The title track features rapper Charles Shin (previously known as FNRL.), who’s worked with Osshun Gum and jayvito.

Yesterday, the music video of ‘REST‘ came out. FLIPEVIL, who also produced Hippy was Gipsy’s breathtaking ‘We’ music video, is behind it. Watch the video below if you haven’t seen it yet!
