Swings Leads AP Alchemy into Partnership with CTM, Charts New Course for Korean Hip-Hop

|

On May 22, Swings, Korean artist and CEO of AP Alchemy, surprised fans and industry insiders alike by announcing a new strategic partnership. Through his social media, Swings revealed that AP Alchemy, the holding company for a series of prominent labels, including Just Music, Indigo Music, WEDAPLUGG RECORDS, and Mine Field, had signed a management service contract with Korea’s largest artist fulfillment service company, CTM (CULTURE THINK MANAGEMENT).

AP Alchemy, under Swings’ leadership, signifies a fresh approach to the Korean hip-hop scene. The company, home to a powerhouse of talent including Giriboy, Kid Milli, Han Yohan, Yang Hongwon, and Nochang, among others, stands as the first hip-hop label in Korea with such an innovative holding structure.

This announcement comes on the heels of Swings’ decision for a recent free hip-hop concert, which rallied about 7,000 people. After the success, Swings unveiled his partnership with CTM, an organization he believes will be instrumental in growing AP Alchemy. “Culture Think has been loyal to us,” Swings declared, thanking the company and outlining his ambitious plans for more concerts, overseas expansion, and increased management growth.

CTM (CULTURE THINK MANAGEMENT), leading the way in ‘artist management services’ in Korea, is gradually becoming a household name. Key players and researchers in the music industry highlight CTM’s services as essential for the future of the Korean music market.

“Thankfully, the expansion of management service clients is happening rapidly,” shared Kim Jin-Kyom, CEO of CultureThink, who added that CTM was fielding requests from various types of artists. In its commitment to providing high-quality management services, CTM has formed a ‘Management Service Contract Review Committee’ to maintain a close watch on contracts. As part of its relentless push for innovation, CultureThink has recently welcomed doctoral-level researchers, speeding up its advancement in various fields, including Tech, HR, and Data.

The union of AP Alchemy and CTM sets a promising trajectory for Korean hip-hop, combining Swings’ leadership with the strategic resources of Korea’s prominent artist management company. This landmark partnership could provide a new template for artists navigating their career paths in the rapidly evolving music landscape.
