TAEYANG has revealed the tracklist for QUINTESSENCE, his upcoming fourth full-length album. The project is scheduled for release on May 18 at 6PM KST and marks his first studio album in nearly nine years, following 2017’s WHITE NIGHT.
The album’s title track is “LIVE FAST DIE SLOW,” which appears as the second song on the 10-track record. According to the revealed tracklist, QUINTESSENCE will include “BAD,” “WOULD YOU,” “MOVIE,” “OPEN UP,” “LOVE LIKE THIS,” “YES,” “NOW,” “G.O.A.T,” and “4U.”
Featured Guests on QUINTESSENCE
The album includes a small but notable guest lineup. “WOULD YOU” features TARZZAN and WOOCHAN of ALLDAY PROJECT, the upcoming group under THEBLACKLABEL. “OPEN UP” features Australian artist The Kid LAROI, adding an international collaboration to the album’s tracklist.
For TAEYANG, QUINTESSENCE follows his 2023 EP Down to Earth, which included “VIBE” with Jimin of BTS and “Shoong!” with LISA of BLACKPINK. The new album brings him back to the full-length format, positioning the release as a larger statement after years of singles, collaborations, and shorter projects.
