Anderson .Paak and DEAN have officially announced their upcoming single, “AFTERTASTE.”
The two artists revealed the title, release date, and official cover art for the track, which is set to arrive on May 8. The announcement follows a teaser clip shared a few days earlier, building anticipation around the collaboration.
The cover art features Anderson .Paak and DEAN in a stark black-and-white visual, with the title “AFTERTASTE” placed prominently across the top. The clean, minimal direction gives the release a polished feel while keeping the focus on the pairing itself.
The collaboration also carries added weight for longtime listeners. Anderson .Paak and DEAN previously connected on “Put My Hands On You” in 2016, making “AFTERTASTE” a reunion nearly a decade later. That earlier track remains a memorable link between DEAN’s Korean R&B world and .Paak’s soul, funk, hip-hop, and R&B-driven sound.
For DEAN, the single marks another closely watched release moment as fans continue to follow his return. For Anderson .Paak, “AFTERTASTE” adds another international collaboration to a catalogue known for its range and groove.
