Grandline Entertainment‘s TakeOne has released the ‘Green Ideology Director’s Cut‘ LP today as well as the music video for ‘Show Time’.
TakeOne released ‘Green Ideology‘ at the end of 2016. The album takes up a special place in Korean hip-hop with its high-quality narration and rap.
The ‘Green Ideology Director’s Cut’ shows TakeOne’s view as the album’s director which brings with it many changes: The transitions between the tracks are new, some parts left out, some newly added. As before, all tracks were mixed by Boost Knob‘s Kyungsun Park, but this time the re-mastering was done in the US by The Mastering Palace’s Kevin Peterson.
This new version includes the additional track ‘개화’ (read: “gaehwa”), which fans have already heard at concerts. Plus, the order of two other tracks was interchanged.
The physical version of the album is going to be available on July 17 via HiphopLE, limited to 500 CDs. This version includes an a capella and an instrumental CD, as well as a new cover and booklet. Furthermore, the albums are numbered from 1 to 500, making them even more worth buying.
Through this Director’s Cut, fans can experience how much thought TakeOne has put into the album as composer and director.
