‘Hurricane Love‘ shows a different side of the artist with its 808 bass and addictive acoustic guitar sound, resulting in a mix of hiphop, trap, folk, and country music that feels familiar for some reason. Sway D learned how to play the guitar in middle school and polished up his skills to play it for this song. His naive guitar playing and the deep sadness in the song create Sway D’s trademark playful atmosphere.
