For his new digital single ‘있으면 돼 (Are You With Me?)‘ So Ji Sub received support from CHANGMO, Soul Dive, Sik-k, DJ Juice, and Woogie.
From the 2008 single ‘고독한 인생’ (lit.: lonely life) to ‘SO GANZI‘ from 2015, actor So Ji Sub has been showing his never-ending love for hiphop music. And now, ahead of his 20-year anniversary as an actor he has released a new two-track single and a music video.
The first track ‘있으면 돼 (Are You With Me?)’ features CHANGMO, was produced by WOOGIE, and co-produced and -written by Sik-K. The second track ‘SEE THE LIGHT’ features Soul Dive who have constantly worked with So Ji Sub and are thus known as his “hiphop soulmates.” The track was produced by Brand New Music’s veteran DJ and producer DJ Juice.
So Ji Sub’s lyrics are very honest: Acting? No no! / Gotta spit only the truth / When everyone says “No no,” then do exactly that / Life is short and time is fast / I just want to live as I please / I’ll relight the candle in my heart, rebirth
