Hiphop/R&B singer-songwriter Plan.Z of 0316Records has released his single ‘Alley Cat (feat. L1lprince).
Plan.Z drew inspiration for his track from the lifestyle of alley cats. The artist mentions that people think of living a free life when they see alley cats. He thought of the position of these cats and how in reality, they don’t have anything to eat because they don’t have a home. Similar to these alley cats, musicians may seem free on the surface, but are not living a completely “free” life. This single aims to seek true freedom, not only for musicians but for anyone that feels they have lost freedom in their life.
As mentioned by the artist, “especially in such cold weather, we hope that this track will bring warm comfort to everyone that listens.”
‘Alley Cat’ features rapper L1lprince. The rapper is an Indiana native, and also happens to be Plan.Z’s best friend. The track was produced by Plan.Z himself. DJ Wildwhip contributed to the arrangement with his 90’s influenced deep R&B sounds. Through their production and composition, a soulful R&B track was born.
