LEEHI has shared a new free release titled “UP,” available exclusively on YouTube. The track arrives ahead of her upcoming single [2 EASY 2 BE HON2ST], which is scheduled to drop on May 5 at 6 PM KST. The rollout keeps the focus firmly on her voice: direct, unforced, and quietly magnetic, with “UP” serving as a preview of the tone she appears to be setting for this next chapter.
The release also comes at a notable point in LEEHI’s career. She recently entered a new independent phase alongside Dok2, with the two linked to 808 HI RECORDINGS and their duet “You & Me” released under the label earlier this year. Recent reports also noted that the pair jointly announced the label’s establishment on March 28, marking a new chapter for both artists as collaborators and label partners.
For LEEHI, the move feels less like a simple comeback and more like a reset. After years of being recognized as one of Korean R&B’s most distinct vocalists, her latest activity suggests a sharper sense of control over how her music is released, presented, and framed. With “UP” now available on YouTube and [2 EASY 2 BE HON2ST] arriving soon, all eyes are on what this new era will sound like in full.
