“Cx3 FREESTYLE” is a love song created over drinks at Cool cool cool, a lit pub near Kyung Hee University that MAZ.B frequents—hence the “Cx3” in the title. What began as a freestyle between MAZ.B and A:rth turned into a raw confession of frustration, regret, and unshakable attachment. The single is now available on every major platform worldwide.
Why is love unfair? I asked, but even the guy next door had no answer.
Why are you sad? Damn—your tears are only excuses, yet I still can’t let you go.
Though improvised, the track is steeped in longing. The lingering smell of alcohol in the lyrics simply mirrors the setting where the song emerged.
Can’t let go—your 3 a.m. call is an encore.
My tears dry into distant regrets; our words overlap like rhombuses—
I want you here, right now.
Will the room you left ever be filled? Will this night without you ever feel complete?
I already know the answer, but wander back like a stray—it’s still you.
Following March’s “RIDIN’,” MAZ.B again directs the music video, with a brief yet scene-stealing cameo by Park Daisy. Watch the visuals while soaking in the lyrics to catch the duo’s intended vibe. With active live shows, they promise more fresh energy soon.
