R&B singer-songwriter Knave has released his fourth single ‘Gayo (가요)‘ on March 26.
Knave gave his debut last year in June with ‘Siigma8‘, which he followed up with ‘Brown Lip‘ in November and ‘Leave‘ in January.
The word “trivial” is relative: One huge deal to someone could be absolutely normal to someone else, and a minor incident in one person’s life could be a big deal to another person.
In this new song, Knave expresses the trivial loneliness he has felt in everyday life since his debut. The first verse is about that loneliness in music, and the second about loneliness in love. The interesting characteristic of this song is that it is slightly more straightforward, unlike other mainstream songs, and that its lyrics are slightly mischievous.
“Why doesn’t time take you away?
All the songs that blossom in my heart
seem to be longing for you”
The single is available on iTunes/Apple Music and Spotify.
