The hiphop duo fa’ce have released their third mini album ‘움‘ today with featurings by Maniac and Joonyoung Choi.
The independent hiphop duo fa’ce (read: fah-seh) are producer droid and rapper outlaw who have been working together since 2010 and thus have an excellent teamwork. They are doing all the producing, writing, mastering, recording, etc. themselves.
Their new album not only holds hiphop tracks but also folk music. This is due to fa’ce’s effort of trying to interpret hiphop music in an exclusively Korean way. Common for fa’ce, the lyrics are straightforward and impactful and handle unusual topics. The innovative melodies speak for themselves.
For more diversity, the two artists worked with singer Joonyoung Choi and rapper Maniac. Furthermore, the track ‘She’s Sky’ was co-composed by up-and-coming R&B singer-songwriter OCEAN.
