Therapeutic music producer team 216Project worked with Sam Ock, Junggigo, and Kenichiro Nishihara on their new single ‘Marry Me‘.
216Project are led by A June of global music group Link6 and are active in Shibuya, Japan. They have worked with many K-pop artists like Monsta X, WJSN, BrotherSu, or #GUN.
Their new single features singer Junggigo, Korean-American singer-songwriter Sam Ock, and Japanese composer Kenichiro Nishihara. Together, these musicians present a lo-fi-style proposal song. Its lyrics are sweet and studded with metaphors typical for jazz hop. The mastering was done by Grammy Award-winning Australian engineer William Bowden.
Kenichiro Nishihara remixed the song with an upbeat piano rhythm. The album cover shows a painting by Sangmok Nah and the music video was directed by Hyungji Joo and Gina Kim of Pufff.

“I’m a better me
’cause I’m feelin’ free
Like a reverie
But it’s really true
That you are really mine
Will you be mine forever?
Will you be my only girl?
I will be yours through the thick and the thin
Our love will make a beautiful world”
