About BewhY

Rapper BewhY is scheduled to greet his fans once again through the release of his new album The Blind Star.

After debuting in 2014 with ‘Waltz’, BewhY went on to win first place on Show the Money 5, where he earned recognition and even the nickname ‘Monster Rapper’. Receiving an explosive response for every release thereafter and topping all major music charts, BewhY’s unique music, an expression of the rapper’s honest beliefs and values, has become so popularized that it’s been deemed a ‘Syndrome’.

His win on Show Me the Money 5, BewhY received much praise and was followed by his collaboration with well-known artists Talib Kweli, Big K.R.I.T, and more for a global hip-hop project and his soundtrack releases for major films ‘Asura’ and ‘Anarchist from Colony’. Despite his busy projects, BewhY continued to stay active in the music scene through various performances and shows. In the midst of the attention of fans and the music community, BewhY received many offers from different hip-hop labels, but chose to forego them all and establish his own one-man company, which became a hot topic in the public.

In May and June of this year, two new songs, “Dejavu” and “HWEGESO (Rest Stop)”, were released one after the other, and the imminent release of his new album were met with fans’ high expectations. BewhY whet appetites with The Blind Star 0.5, the release of the first part of his album which includes five songs, and received an immense response from his fans. His tracks ‘Red Carpet’ featuring Gray and ‘9UCCI BANK’ featuring Dok2 express a colorful picture of the glamorous life BewhY experienced after ‘Show Me the Money’ and how he saw himself changing within that new lifestyle. The rest of the tracks from ‘The Blind Star’, which are scheduled for a September 17t h release, are said to tell a different story about what BewhY imagined his life to be like and the worries he faced.

Parallel to the release of his first full-length album The Blind Star, BewhY is set to embark on his very first solo concert tour, which is expected to be a meaningful time where he honestly shares the stories he tells in his new songs. The album, born through meditation and deep contemplation over life’s direction, is sure to resonate heavily with listeners. It’s also expected that the guest musicians who were involved in the making of this album will hold a special stage during BewhY’s concert. After the conclusion of BewhY’s solo concert tour in Korea, he will meet with his international fans through BewhY First US Tour ‘The Blind Star’.
