CROQ - Empty (cover)

CROQ releases first single ‘Empty’

Rapper CROQ’s first single ‘휑해’ [Empty] has been released today.
CROQ has been evolved not only in the track’s lyrics and composition, but also in its arrangement and artwork. The song tells of the pain, longing, and emptiness after a break-up. All in all, it is very dreamy and beautiful but on the opposite also gives you an empty feeling somehow.
CROQ received help arranging it from producer and guitarist Han Yohan, who has worked with artists like Geeks, Nochang, and Block B, and his producer colleague Yuh Bitna.
Look forward to rapper and singer-songwriter CROQ’s various musical experiments.

Sik K - Better Life (cover)

SIK K releases single and MV ‘Better Life’

SIK K from Show Me the Money 4 is attracting attention with this single that includes a track he worked on with popular band Hyukoh’s drummer Lee Inwoo.

The hiphop scene’s rising young blood SIK K entered the scene with his unofficial mixtape ‘YOUNG HOT YELLOW’ in 2013 and has been acknowledged for his skills and consistent work. Lately, he has received attention for being on Jay Park and Loco’s team AOMG on SMTM4 together with Lil Boi, Geegooin, and David Kim. He has now officially released his first solo album, showing off his skills.

This double single is made up of two songs: the title track ‘Better Life’ and the track ‘My Man’ on which SIK K worked together with drummer Lee Inwoo of Hyukoh, the band that has become very popular via Infinity Challenge. It is the first hiphop track Lee Inwoo has ever produced.

SIK K made ‘Better Life’ one year ago when he was nor young nor adult. In the track’s bright atmosphere, he talks about his worries and the better life he imagined for himself at the time. In the second track ‘My Man’, SIK K raps calmly about what he sees as the ‘right attitude’, something he wishes for all his friends and all artists to have.

Since the album came out today, when the new SMTM4 episode airs, some people are expecting SIK K to be eliminated from the show.

SIK K is enrolled at the Department of Business Administration at Sejong University. Beginning with this album, he wants to release more and more music from now on.
