HAON drops ‘TRAVEL: NOAH’ EP and ‘NOAH (Ft. Jay Park, Hoody)’ MV

H1GHR MUSIC’s HAON has released his first EP, ‘TRAVEL: NOAH‘, along with the MV of the title track ‘NOAH (Feat. Jay Park, Hoody) (Prod. by GroovyRoom)’.

HAON (also written: “H △ O N”) is a member of hip-hop crew KIFF CLAN together with VINXEN and Webster B. He won the second season of Mnet’s SCHOOL RAPPER. In May, he joined Jay Park‘s H1GHR MUSIC and released his first single with the label one month later. It was a pre-release off this album.

Travel into the mental world together with the rebellious NOAH! In seven tracks, NOAH rebels against many things: the ego and duality, interference and greed, optimism and peace, uncertainty and pigeonholing, moderation and observation, and finally consistency and coercion.

HAON received support from Jay Park, Hoody, B-Free, and his label mate pH-1.

pH-1 - harry (cover art)

pH-1 releases self-titled digital single ‘harry’

pH-1’s self-titled new single is about ‘harry‘ who is not used to receiving love and pushes people away, feeling lonely. Thurxday produced all three tracks.

pH-1 not simply used his own first name as title for this single, but also wrote it with a lowercase ‘h’, referring to the verb ‘harry’ which means to harrass, trouble, or torment. The artist feels doubtful of the love and attention he is receiving, and those doubts keep tormenting him.

The first track, ‘비싸’ (lit.: expensive) contains pH-1’s gratitude toward those people who are showing him love even though he feels he is lacking. In the second track he asks why they would love him who doesn’t even love himself. And finally, the title track is about the loneliness that pH-1 constantly feels despite receiving so much love from so many people.

pH-1 - The Island Kid (album cover)

pH-1 releases first mini album ‘The Island Kid’

H1GHR MUSIC’s pH-1 has released his first mini album ‘The Island Kid’ with support from Thurxday, Jay Park, slom, Owen Ovadoz, G.Soul, and more.

pH-1 made his debut in 2016 with the single ‘Wavy’. After joining H1GHR MUSIC, he collaborated with Jay Park and Sik-K on the GroovyRoom-produced track ‘iffy‘.

This is the rapper’s first album. It contains six tracks, most of them were produced by Thurxday. The other producers are Yelowsmob’s Vangdale, Holocoin’s slom, and David Kim (note: not Dayday) who previously worked with Eric Nam. Track six features pH-1’s label mate G.Soul, and track five Owen Ovadoz with who pH-1 forms the duo Sous Chefs. The title track ‘Donut’ features Jay Park, watch its music video below!
