San E releases ‘Seoul, or the 120 Days of Sodom’ MV

| ,

San E has just released the official music video for his track ‘Seoul, or the 120 Days of Sodom (서울, 소돔의 120일)‘ off his ‘Season of Suffering’ EP.

After the off-the-record video for ‘Counselor’, this is the second music video off the artist’s recent mini album. If you’ve read our official translation of this track’s lyrics and even further about the movie the track is based on, you will most certainly have no problem understanding the video.

In the movie ‘Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom’, several men explore the abyss of human corruption and debauchery. The music video brings this topic into our present time through virtual reality headsets, along the way focussing on the ethical issues this new technology is raising. The video constantly switches between the virtual and the actual reality while the leader of the experiment (played by San E) observes his test persons. But see for yourself!
