Nam Soorim has returned as rapper RIMI with the single ‘관을 걸어나오며 (Walking Out of the Coffin)’!
Several Overclass members have mentioned a revival of the crew‘s activities, and RIMI (who has released a few non-hiphop singles under her real name Nam Soorim) returning with her rap name and this meaningfully titled single seems to be one of the first steps towards the return of Overclass.
As RIMI, she has released the two mixtapes ‘Awesome Girl’ and ‘Awesome BITCHHHH!!!’, and one full-length album, Rap Messiah (2010), followed by several singles. She founded the crew Cookiz and together with Gam Ja, she has also been in the project team RIMI & Gam Ja, making comical rap. As she joined Grandline Entertainment, she underwent a change of image, using her real name, Nam Soorim, and making more pop than hiphop sounds. Fans expressed that they were disappointed with the change and wanted the rapper RIMI back.
With this new single, she is trying herself at a new genre: trap.
