The free-spirited rapper MaseWonder of Hermit Records has released the single album ‘깨어나있어 (Feat. PLZY, J.yung)’ (Awake) today.
MaseWonder, who has already been noticed abroad, has been compared to Frank Ocean and Rihanna due to his boyish rapping, his free and honest lyrics and his trendy sounds. He was born into a family of artists and naturally grew up with art. Now he is a 188 cm tall man with good looks and a great sense for fashion which even led him to modeling.
The song ‘깨어나있어’ (Awake) is his first album release under the hiphop label Hermit Records and the song gives you a good taste of MaseWonder’s characteristic style. On a clear and addictive beat that cannot be limited to a single genre the rapper tells his point of view on things we encounter every day without giving them much tought.
