Together with the Band Wonderlust, Crush has released his version of ‘마지막 축제’ for Seo Taiji’s 25th anniversary project ‘TIME:TRAVELER’.
The song ‘마지막 축제‘ (lit.: last festival) came out in 1993 on Seo Taiji and Boys’ second full-length album. 24 years later, Crush is remaking it.
While staying true to the original song’s identity, this remake has Crush written all over it. The original swing jazz music was turned into bossanova sounds with a romantic and warm atmosphere.
Once again, zanybros directed the music video which is studded with homages to Seo Taiji.
This single marks the end of the remake project ‘TIME : TRAVELER’ that lasted throughout July and August. It consisted of young musicians remaking Seo Taiji’s hit songs like time travelers bringing presents from the future. Some of the artists who participated were Loopy and nafla, and Heize.
