Jessi’s bare face
The above picture made especially male fans swoon over Jessi’s bare face, saying: “She looks so much better without make-up.” – “She seems like she’s actually a friendly noona.” – “Is it really Jessi?” – “Pretty!” – “How cute!”

Illionaire’s lyrics changed my life
Along with lyrics extracts from Dok2’s ‘We Gotta Know’, ‘Fly Away (Feat. The Quiett)’, and Dok2’s part of Swings’ ‘역주행’, one fan stated that his life changed for the better thanks to those lyrics. Others commented: “I was brainwashed by Dok2’s interviews and am now a more positive person.” – “If you listen to Epik High, the quality of your life will change.” – “Dok2 mentioned before that he has read Rhonda Byrne’s ‘The Secret’ which influences him when he writes lyrics.” – “Wow, looking at the lyrics again, I must say that Dok2 writes lyrics really well.” – “I like it when he writes lyrics like these, you can feel his sincerity.”
How much are SMTM4 producers paid?
A few people are discussing this, as apparently the producers receive different amounts of pay due to how busy/popular they are. One user suggested (from lowest to highest pay): Loco < San E < Verbal Jint < Jay Park < Paloalto < Jinusean < Zico < Tablo
This was obviously immediately contested by others, some saying that Jinusean should be getting paid the most, that Paloalto is probably getting less, that Jay Park should be getting more than Zico … What is your opinion?
Jung Sangsoo is a North Korean spy?!
One user posted the left picture, causing people to crack up at the striking resemblance between the North Korean in the picture and rapper Jung Sangsoo. (Click on the picture for original size.)
Korean hiphop in three syllables
Someone suddenly had the idea to define Korean hiphop in three syllables: 이.센.스 [E SENS].
More people quickly joined the game with their own definitions: “Keith Ape: It is sex” – “It sucks bad” – “Please explain” – “Politics” – “Yoon Mirae” – “타블로 [Tablo]” – “Oppa’s car” – “God E SENS” – “Wannabe” – “Kimchiphop”

The Quiett – 1Life2Live
Rumor has it that DJ Premier and Pete Rock have worked together with The Quiett for his new album ‘1Life2Live’. Most Korean hiphop fans can’t wait for the album and are already set on buying it. They are pretty sure that there will be less bragging about money and more smooth sounds. Someone who went to one of the Illionaire Tour 2015 concerts said that while they were waiting for the concert to begin, one of The Q’s new songs was playing in the background and it was super smooth! The album is apparently in the final production stages.
Kirin – Here We Go Now (Lee Daheen JEEP MIX) (Feat. Deepflow)
“I had no idea this ever happened.” This video amused many, especially seeing the serious Deepflow in it. The cute cameo of Zion.T (who helped with the chorus) garnered people’s attention too and they praised the song’s high quality.
And more …
While Paloalto is currently the center of controversy due to his appearance on SMTM4 and his collaboration with Hyorin, newcomer Nafla is getting endless praise and applause, notably for his latest music video ‘Foothill’: “Awesome vibe” – “Not only the music is awesome, the video is too!” – “What a killer beat” – “I wish he’d give concerts in South Korea” – “All his music videos seem to be dope” – “It’s been a long time since I last watched a music video with my mouth wide open”
